Hi, I am looking for a boarding school for my 15 year old that is not overly priced. The ones I found are at least 9k a year. Is there any cheaper option?

HELP?

My daughters state boarding school is £10,500 per year.
I think £9,000 is the cheapest you'll find.
It's worth asking if there are any scholarships that maybe available, although in our school they are usually applied for in year 7.

There's a state boarding school very near Teading at Holyport me Maidenhead. Fees are free and boarding costs are well within your 9k but obviously it is extremely oversubscribed and halfway through gcse syllabus is a tricky time to move

Holyport college as mentioned above is a state boarding school. (Massively oversubscribed)

So tuition is free but boarding alone is £11000 plus per year.

I'm not sure what you're looking for exists.

Would think this is about as cheap as you could do it.

I believe that entrance to state boarding schools is limited to UK and EU nationals.
