Sevenoaks secondary school: Anyone know about the wait list?

Our DD is on the waitlist and this is our first choice. Anyone else on the waitlist or turning down places? Any idea how many get off the wait list? It seems there are only 80 places or so . . .. .

I went to an open day a couple of years ago and they seemed to imply if you were on the wait list and really wanted the school you would get a place. I don't know if that has. changed, this was for Sep 16 entry. They encourage you to make this clear to the admissions team. Congratulations on getting a waitlist place, I know some last year who didn't even get that. There will be a lot of movement after 1 March. We reluctantly turned down a place as DD had other great and more nearby state options but if money had been no object S/oaks was a top contender. Good luck.
