Entrance Exam Result Dismay

I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out what my DD's exam results mean . Just had results back from St Hilda's, Liverpool and the result for the NVR and VR was 127. Highest marks were 158.

This doesn't mean she got 80% though - these will be standardised scores and a score of 127 could still be very high.

You need to contact the school - don't be dismayed until you understand how many kids are actually going for those places.

What position did she come? Officially St Hilda's accept the top 25 scorers but this will usually extend lower as the top 25 may also have scored highly in tests for other schools and go there instead. I know a child who got in last year who came in the 60s.
