DS homework to create a poster - every "country" he has come up with isn't a country but a state of some sort. Meltdown this morning for us both - any ideas????

Peru - Lake Titicaca, Pacific Ocean, Andes, Volcanoes and Canyons, Amazon Basin and rainforest. Similar in Ecuador but an additonal extra is the Galapagos Islands. People are far less likely to do these countries. They have Everything!

Chile - has the Atacama desert, the Andes, a sub-polar zone (Tierra del Fuego), is bordered by ocean, has volcanoes, is on the Ring of Fire, has a lot of seismic activity, has volcanic islands (Easter Island). Fjords and an archipelago in the south.

Good choice! It probably won't be overdone be overdone either. So many of us have thought of Iceland and Costa Rica, that it is likely other kids in the class will rock up with projects on those. This way he is in a category all his own.

South Africa. It really is a "world in one country".
