Bromley/Greenwich borders, Coopers & Crown Woods help with admission

Hi
This is fairly specific so you need to be local to help me!

I'm booking time off work for open days at Secondaries but not sure if it is worth visiting these two schools.

Both use Banding. I live close enough in SOME bands but not all.

Coopers - 8 bands. Which is the most academic, which is the least academic?

Crown Woods - bit more complicated. They show distances under 5 bands
1a, 1b, 2a, 2b and 3.
Does anyone know which schools within Crown Woods these match up to? Which of these is the most academic and which the least?

My list of schools to visit where we are within recent distances currently stands at 11. That's a lot of open days. (Grammar area and crossing 3 Boroughs in case you think I'm mad)

Avoid Coopers and Crown Woods

I believe from talking to current parents that Coopers is on the up. It had suffered a bad reputation but is now becoming a school of choice for those nearby and even further away. It isn't perfect, discipline is still work in progress but better than some other schools and a parent who transferred from a Harris school said Coopers has a refreshing approach to recognising and supporting the individual which they had lacked in their previous school.

Absolutely massive staff turnover, sadly.
