How much uniform needed?

I'm going to go to the uniform supplier in the morning with DD and can't think how much to buy - skirts, shirts and jumpers I mean. In primary there have always been a large selection of stuff in her wardrobe as she grows out of and into things so I have no idea what she really needs. Is 3 of each thing ok?

I started off with one blazer and two jumpers and skirts. The jumper dries really quickly, so that has been fine. I bought an extra skirt though as it dries slowly. About 4 shirts.

What plimsolls does everyone have? Can you post photos? GrinWink

Plimsolls? For senior school? No.

I was joking, hence the Wink There is a plimsoll fetishist/troll who frequently starts threads listing their child's uniform, including pictures of converse/vans etc.

I knew someone who bought two of everything, but the second set was one size bigger, so you benefit from having a spare, and one with some room for growth. good luck

1 blazer, I skirt or pair of trousers, 1 tie, 5-6 shirts.

1 each of whatever PE kit you need.

Job done.

lilyray is that for one child? Will they really need seven different things to wear on their bottom half? y DD has had the same school skirt (just one) for the last 2 years. She' not grown much (she is 15 now) and a bigger one would just be bigger at the waist, not longer anyway. I wash it every weekend. It doesn't get dirty or manky in any way. What are some of you expecting your child to do?

That said I sometimes have to wash DS2's trousers midweek. They dry in no time tho.
