Purcell School

Wondering if anybody has any recent feedback on Purcell? There seems to have been a lot of change in staff and controversy over the last few years and wondering how things are under new head.

The Purcell school willl be disused at the Independent Inquiry for child sexual abuse at residential schools this Friday 4/10/19. Including the recent incident which happened to my child.
Not a safe place for children.

That's interesting. Thank you for the warning. I recently looked at Purcell school with my son and we both felt it was the wrong place for him, because we didn't feel individual pupil welfare was a priority. The talent of the pupils was incredible but I wondered at what cost. I felt so much more reassured by Wells and Chethams. They seemed a lot more caring towards the pupils. However, it is so difficult to know when looking in from the outside.

As with all schools you have to visit it first. Feeling of melancholy around the place and staff don't seem to be happy but that is just a snap shot.
