Hi there…. just as the thread title says really. Dd has an interview there tomorrow, should last about a half hour. Any idea what we might expect? Will there be an academic aspect to it do you think? If anyone has been through it and would care to share, I'd be very grateful!

Many thanks.

I would say brush up on current events and know some world leaders. There will be 2 interviewers conducting the interview separately. There may be some mental maths and/or problem solving situations.

DD no 1 had an interview 2 years ago with GL. (She got an offer, but we chose to go elsewhere). It was relaxed, fun, no current events, they asked her Maths and English.
She (and a friend that had the interview at the same time) felt completely relaxed about it, they could not have prepared for anything

DD has an interview for G&L tomorrow. She thinks she did well on the English exam but not on Maths. Would performing well in the interview pull her chances high to get an offer?

Thank you all for your comments. As it was, there were no current affairs questions, it was very relaxed, dd was asked to put a series of pictures into whatever groups she wanted and explain her decision…. beyond that, it seemed to be fairly general chat. Well, that's as much as I could get out of her, in any event…!
