Transport from Camberley to Reading Grammar

Hi,

I am thinking of trying to get my son into Reading school. We live in camberley, does anyone know if there is a school bus? I have read lots of threads on the 11+ forum and only one mother mentioned a bus from the Meadows in Sandhurst, but this was a while ago and there were no follow up responses to confirm?

Thank you

Schools usually have info about buses on their websites. As they only say this: www.reading-school.co.uk/51/how-to-find-us I assume they don't (it's a boarding school too I see, which may be why) but the regular services may be ok. I wouldn't want to rely on them though as the local bus companies are keen on cutting them - they recently cut the services between Fleet and Aldershot, fortunately they've been reinstated now.

I don't know about buses, but I do know that plenty of Reading boys and Kendrick girls take the train from Camberley. Hordes of them, a sea of grey and red walking through Reading town on and from their way to those 2 schools.

Yes, sigh, those of us who live in Reading don't have a chance to get our own children in unless they are tutored. Sorry not going to help you on buses.
