Wellsway or John Cabot Academy?

Having relocated from Southampton to Hanham on Wednesday my 16 year old is fortunate to have a choice of sixth forms. The top local choices, based on public information, are Wellsway or John Cabot Academy. Both seem good, so any advice / personal recommendations would be very welcome. He has good GCSEs, and wants to study traditional humanities A level subjects : English, History, Psychology. Interested in Drama AS/ extra curricular activity. Thanks for yor help!

Personally I would say that Wellsway may be a better bet for Humanities as John Cabot has a Science and Technology specialism, but it depends which your ds would prefer as they are both very good sixth forms. Does either school publish the results on their website?
You could try posting on the Keynsham and Kingswood facebook groups (if you are on FB) as there may be more traffic there.

Thanks. We've read everything available and agree both look good. Reassuring to hear this from someone local though.

I have no useful info but had to comment as I went to both many moons ago. I was at JC for 6th form and WW for the rest. I did science based A-levels and think JC gave me amazing background. Not probably very useful as both will have changed massively in that time but it was a blast from the past to see your title.
