Luckley House School vs Reading blue coat

My daughter is hesitating between Luckley House and Reading Blue Coat sixth form. It looks like Luckley has changed these last 2 years since new headmistress. Can anyone give me their thoughts about Luckley House, secondary years going onto sixth form? Thank you in advance.

Luckley have just started taking boys in the lower years, and now in year 12 I think, was highly thought of as a girls school, know quite a few lovely youngsters who have been through the school. Head very good, was hoping they were taking boys into yr 9 but sadly not this year!

is the choice of subjects the same? quality of the labs, etc? they are both good schools but Blue Coat seems bigger to me and therefore it probably offers more choice

Is your daughter already at a private school, or is she coming from state? Luckley is smaller than RBCS which may help her settle in. Luckley does seem to be going places at the moment, and both are good schools.

Thank you so much for all your input. It was a difficult decision but we finally decided for Blue Coat as Luckley didn't have one subject option that my daughter wanted to take for Alevel.
