3 weeks after the waiting lists were announced we have gone from No. 10 to No.2 for the preferred Catholic Secondary school of our choice. We know we are not home and dry but would appreciate hearing thoughts on the chances of getting in prior to start of term in just over 5 months time.
240 places were awarded in line with the admissions criteria
Do you think it is possible that a few of the 240 placed have found alternative preferred schools but simply not bothered to inform the school of this decision?
Does the school or local authority ring all of the 240 placed families to confirm their intentions to attend so that they either remain or free up places?
Would appreciate any thoughts or advice
Kind Regards
