We are considering moving back to London to coincide with DS moving to 6th form. He is currently doing very well in all of his science subjects so would probably look to take mainly science A levels.

Any ideas about 6th forms that are considered good at science would be helpful, we will probably rent so would move close to school, we would prefer North London as that's where we used to live but would consider other areas but would have to take into account DH who works near Paddington.

UCL Academy in NW3, sponsored by University College London (hence the name [grin...] which has a specialist STEM 6th form. Opened in 2012 and, after a somewhat rocky start, it's first A level results last year were outstanding. The facilities are amazing, there are loads of visiting lecturers from UCL and the 6th form students don't start until 9:30am as they believe they work better later in the morning.
