Dd's school is taking a group of her year (Y12) to a UCAS convention end of march . I asked her if peoples parents are going , does she want us to go too, but she doesn't know or care
Anyone else going? With your child? Do parents go on their own or is that weird?

The Ucas convention our school goes to is very much children only.

No not usually

Parents not given the option with our school. But there is a separate evening for Parents and kids at the school before the convention.

No Our school just takes the kids on a coach.
I think there is a parents evening too.
Additionally there is an Oxbridge convention (in Newcastle I think) followed by a parents evening for anyone tying with applying to Oxbridge. That is coming up in the next week or 2.

We have that too (although our oxbridge convention is a very long way away from Newcastle).

DC only to the UCAS convention and the Oxbridge one (coaches from school), but the school put on a info evening for parents and get someone from Student Finance to explain the finance side of things.
