KCS 13+ Interviews

Anyone else out there anxiously checking e-mails for invitations to interview at KCS?....getting quite late in the day and beginning to wonder if anyone has heard anything?

P.S. Well done all the other successful DS'!!!

For all those of you who are going to accept the offer from KCS, are your DS' going to opt for the scholarship route? Does anyone know what proportion of boys do this? The letter we received said that they "assumed" DS would be entering via this route, so does this mean they expect everyone to do it? (as opposed to common entrance)

Well done to all your DS's we'll see you in 2017! Unclebulariashat We will decide with DS and school closer to the time if he would like to sit the scholarship, not to be taken lightly in terms of the workload required and the scholarship levels currently offered by KCS not like the 'old' (6 years ago) days of 50%... Not everyone from our school got the 'expected to take the scholarship route'. At least 4 didn't, but that is not to say that our school won't recommend that they take the scholarship exam based on next years performance. They are all bright boys.

Again congrats to all DS's and a well deserved break over half term.
