Moving to Brighton secondary school advice

So currently in the leafy metropolis that is south London....looking to move to sunnier climes in Brighton. DS is currently in a v good primary - recommendations for secondary in Brighton( outside of Brighton college) suggestions welcome :)

The Preston Park side is best if memory serves from when we looked. Dorothy Stringer and Varndean, rather than Hove Park. Should be several threads on this if you have a search around.

(when I say PP side, I mean near the park itself, not the station. That side of the main road)
