I haven't got to the end of the tread yet, but thank you so much for starting it. I just wish I had found it sooner, I have been worried sick for the past few weeks, but this has made me feel much calmer.

So who's waiting for them to return!

If they have phones, make sure they have relevant numbers saved on them - parents work, mobile, home, emergency contacts eg grandparents, aunts, friends, the school etc.
Also write them on a little card to go in bus pass/blazer with emergency cash in case they lose the phone.

DS2 starts tomorrow :-)
I should check the bus timetable hasn't changed over the summer...

Name labels woth phone numbers on. Blazers left in parks, bags left on buses..all these things people have rung me to say they have found...saved me a pile. Uncool..bit useful tip. Dont buy new...until they can look after the old stuff. Old stuff less likely to be pinched. Coats and bags esecially. Practice asking for help at hogh school..they will suffer for weeks rather than disclose they dont undersyand..helps for them to vetbaliseIit 'plrade could I have some more help/more time as I am dyslexic/slightly deaf/forgot my reading glasses
