Help with applying to a single sex school please...

On behalf of a friend.
His daughter really needs to get into a girls school, because the next two options for schools are terrible. He has to say on the form why she needs a single sex school in particular. Any ideas would be appreciated! The olny thing I can think of are religious reasons, which doesn't apply in her case.

Something grovelly about how his dd herself wants to go to a single-sex school because she's very serious about wanting to work hard and do well academically, and feels she'd be able to do that better in a single-sex environment? Possibly including references to how bright girls achieve better in single-sex schools? Most of the research in this regard is a bit dubious, I believe, but can't hurt to throw it in.
