Appeals - requesting information from the admission authority

School Appeals Code says that the admission authority must send me any information I might reasonably ask for - but how long would you expect this request to take? I asked for some information nearly 3 weeks ago and haven't got an answer yet. I don't want to be pushy but I do need this info - would it be rude to ask again or should I leave it a bit longer? (I know they received the request as I did it via email and got a read-receipt).

It varies depending on what information you have requested, how many other parents are appealing and asking questions, and the individual admission authority. Unless you've asked for something obscure I would normally expect it to take less than 3 weeks. It certainly wouldn't be rude to ask again.

Thanks. I'll give them another week and then ask again.
