Summer homework between Y6 and Y7

Do kids moving up to secondary school for Y7 get homework to do in the summer holidays from the new school??

Willyoulisten, I would find out if the Secondary has a homework club, DS's school runs one at Lunchtime and it has Learning Support Assistants there to help. It was invaluable when DS (Aspergers) started until he got to grips with what the school expected from him in terms of quality and quantity of work, More often than not, he still gets worksheets set for homework, but if he has an essay or a project to do, he can get friendly advice on how to go about it.
