Should DS have been taken to First Aid?

DS1 age 16 in Year 11 passed out in an ICT lesson on Thursday. He was out, according to his friends, for roughly 5 seconds on the floor.

After it happened his teacher said he could go to the toilet, where he said he looked "green", went back to class and carried on working.

Surely if a pupil loses consciousness he/she see a first aider?

DS seemed non-plussed/embarrassed about the whole thing and thinks the fainting was a reaction to,an energy.

Will be seeing the teacher at Parents Evening on Monday and don't really know what to make of it all.

Tia

Yes, if this is not something he is known to do, then I do think he should have been taken to first aid.

No, it's not something he's known to do at his school. He did faint once back in Year 6 at Junior school.

Maybe I should get everything checked out at the docs?

Deffo get him checked over by your doctor. I think he should have been sent to school nurse/first aid at the time.
