12 / 13+ Non-verbal reasoning resources

We are moving back to the UK in the summer and DS who will be Yr9 in Sept 2014 has been told he will be required to sit a test at the school we have applied to.

He will do an English, Math and non-verbal reasoning paper. I have looked online to try and find NVR sample papers for this age but keep coming up with just 11+ papers.

Does anyone know if you can get these online?

Thanks

Bonds have an online NV and VR and you could also try bonds books. We found the website slow.

Dad's school use GL assessments online- I think you can sign up as an individual. Sorry it hadn't clicked re year9 so bonds probably not the best!

Yes, lots of online resources for 11+ but not coming up with any for 13+ NVR

Galore park , the commercial arm of the ISEB , have ones targeted at 11 and 12+ which I think would be worthwhile (two books)

Their VR tests are worthwhile too

Thanks - just signed up for a free sample on their website Smile

Also I really like the schofield and Simms one - works through techniques and has 4 graded pages for each type of question. , the last of which is jolly difficult. Plus the answers are explained in detail hitch at high levels is essential as otherwise parent and boy can be left gazing at the pictures ranting "but why is it e?"

Again I like their VR too even though billed as 11+ - once you have the techniques it is really a matter of more mature vocabulary

There is an 11 plus website called "a testing time" it has four levels. The highest level is Expert plus and probably 12+ equivalent.
