Woldingham School - What's It Like?

We’re considering sending our DD to Woldingham. Just wondering if anyone in the know could give me an up to date insight about the school? Just trying to get a feel for what the culture is like on a day to day basis.

Meant to say - she'd be going into Year 7 as a day pupil. Any feedback on their pastoral care and the types of personality it suits etc would be really useful. Thanks!

my children are there .. it is fantastic. Complete integration between day girls and boarders. Day girls join in everything. Loads of lunch time clubs but loads of activities take place straight after school so day girls and boarders go. To be honest of my daughters friends not sure who are day girls and who are boarders. Pastoral care is great really strong. Any issue can be dealt with. What I liked was that they really understand that in year 7 is that they were still young and needed support. Academic results are really good as well ,which is achieved by good teaching and encouragement. I think the girls can flourish in ways they want to from children achieving diploma's in music instruments, county sports players, winners of major poetry competition, an increasing number going to Oxbridge , to many just enjoying life there and flourishing academically. Every one is made to feel valued whoever they are. Sorry if it sounds a bit gushing but I am a real fan.
