Secondary Schools in Hackney/Islington

Do you have any experience with Bridge Academy or St. Mary Magdalene Academy? Which Academy is better?
We moved to Islington/Hackney recently, my daughter is in year 6 and we are looking for good secondary schools in this area.

Bumping this for you as I imagine applications must be in soon.
I have no direct knowledge but have spoken to people who looked at Mary Magdalene's for their DC. Their impression is that it was a bit serious/dour. (Your impression of course may be different). I know in that neck of the woods Highbury Grove is increasingly popular - may be another one to consider. Maybe worth reposting with the names of the schools in the title, to get more relevant knowledge. Good luck.
