Is there a level 8 for history in KS3?

I've googled but not got a definitive answer. DD1 is starting year 8 after getting 6a in history at the end of year 7. Assuming the target is 2 sub-levels this year and next that would put her on 8c but does level 8 exist in history? Parent's evening not for a while and it's not urgent, I'm just curious. Thanks.

Yes it does. It exists now for most KS3 subjects I believe.

Thankyou. I thought L8 was confined to maths and science but I stand corrected.

No problem Iamnotinterested at the end of Y7 she got 5a, end of Y8 she got 6a, end of Y9 8b.
In Y10 she sat Unit 1 of GCSE (AQA) and got A then in Y11 she sat Unit 2 Option D and got A and also got A for Unit 3 coursework, this gave her an overall final result of A
