Basingstoke

If we move to Basingstoke what would be the options for DS's secondary school? (He's only 2 but this would be a forever move).

We assumed he would go to a selective day school (if he turns out to be able) but there doesn't seem to be any such thing anywhere near Basingstoke. Not for a minute thinking he would be bright enough to rely on Reading Boys and that's quite a trek anyway.

Any thoughts???

Love Pangbourne. Home to our favorite pub, more than one favorite pub actually, and we love to walk down the river. We have it earmarked for retirement! (That said, it has a fab playground where you can stan on the play structure and watch the trains go by- DS approves )

No go for DH to Chertsey though.

and.. gorgeous as it is, we can only have 2 bedrooms for our budget!!
