My son's been offered a place in September, hard to get into but is it any good?

Anyone know?

well, it's got a great local reputation. can't you ask around/check ofsted/SATS/GCSE/A-level results\etc

Yes it's excellent. One of the best boy's schools in that area, so snap up the place.

when we were local - friends of ours stayed having got a place, other friends decided to leave the area entirely as soon as they knew he hadn't got in
