Berkhamsted/Herts - Grammar Schools

Does anyone know if Berkhamsted residents can send their kids to Bucks Grammar schools (assuming they pass the 11+)? What is the chance they get a place?

Is the fact that the town is on the Bucks border relevant?

Yes, they can. The chances of getting a place depend on which Grammar School. Last year, it looks like Chesham Grammar School accepted all qualified children that applied.

I don't know whether this is the norm for this school though. Your best bet is to ask questions on the 11+ forum which has a group dedicated to Bucks.
