Hi
I'm starting my search for a secondary for my son. His intelligence in average for his age but he has problems with sensory and often had meltdowns at school due to his communication and social difficulties.

If he is to be in a school it needs to be excellent at providing for children like him. He has been home ed for the last year.

Thanks for your help.
Bernie

Whereabouts in north London are you?

Are you looking for state or private schools?

There was talk of a specialist provision for ASD at Alexandra Park School, not sure if they got the funding to do this or not, but I believe that the special needs provision is very good at the school.

If you have a statement you would have a good chance of getting in but if not the catchment is shrinking every year.

Thanks all. I don't get notified of replies so just checked these. Yes I heard APS was a contender. He has a statement. Thanks.
