Hello all. My daughter has just passed her GCSE's and got herself a place in the 6th form at Bristol Cathedral Choir school.

Tricky bit is we live in Winterbourne. There is a bus that collects in Winterbourne and drops pretty much outside the school. Cost is in the region of £1200 a year. First Bus do a travel pass as well but that will be a 2 stop journey.

I was just wondering if anyone on here has a son or daughter at the school and if they do a school run? Happy to contribute to petrol costs etc.

Some colleges/sixth forms do reduced price bus tickets. It's a few years ago [5 or 6] but you could save a third or more on bus tickets for under 18's if the pass is booked through the school/college. Have you contacted their transport office, they should be able to give the best advice.
