Good "creative" schools in Herts/Essex?

Hi

I'm looking for a secondary school for my very creative DD - not just good art/music department but somewhere a bit more "free thinking" than straight academic. Could be state or private. Any ideas? We are on Herts/Essex border.

Starting at the very beginning so any ideas gratefully received.

The Friends' School, Saffron Walden? Being a Quaker school I should think it encourages free thinking.

St Christophers in letchworth? was very free thinking and progressive when I went there

I would second St Christophers, good music/art/drama, no uniform, the children call teachers by their first name, vegetarian, the children are involved in school rules, lots of community projects etc....

St Chris, as above.

Steiner school near Langley.

Another one for St. Chris. Your child sounds like just the type the school suits.

Thanks for those ideas - will look into them all.
