What are the benefits of taking triple science over double?

Circular - to get 4 Sciences you would do triple science - separate GCSEs in Physics, Biology and Chemistry plus you could do either GCSE Astronomy or GCSE Geology.

circular as seahouses said there are GCSEs in Geology and Astronomy neither of which are very widely available, so only an option for relatively few. They're not always great choices (even where the choice exists) in that it tends to make your GCSE set rather science heavy, but in dd's case she didn't want to do an art/music/drama/design type subject and viewed this as her 'fun' choice.
