Can anyone confirm/deny rumours that KGS is v difficult to get into these days for 10+ and 11+? Boy at DS's school failed to get in last year then got a Hampton scholarship but latter is more academic or so I thought?

When my DC's got their letters re the interview, I am sure they arrived on a Friday!

Now I'm really nervous and still have 2 1/2 hours to wait until our post arrives. Could you just tell me - was it a very thin envelope? (I seem to remember from my DS1 that good news was delivered with a complliment slip!)

Sadly a "no" for us - bother. The thought of having to do the whole 11+ thing next year is the worst thing...
