Calling all teachers how do you view promotional videos that are sent to you via email....Just wondering if you access You Tube or is there another type of site Teachers can access videos? I want to send some promotional emails out with a link

usually you cant watch you tube but it depends on the school. Our LA banned it but we got it lifted eventually after a long battle.

pupils cannot access you tube on their school accounts but the teachers can.

I often use youtube clips in my lessons - 2-3 minute clip in the middle of a lesson. i've not worked in a school where the teachers couldn't access youtube. facebook is another matter Wink

We can sometimes access youtube, sometimes not, they keep chopping and changing the filters.

But if we need something for work, we can access it at home, download it and save it to play in school. We can also access work emails at home if necessary too.

It works in my school, but only a recent development for teachers only!

At our school staff can access it but students can't. I find it useful for showing short clips in lessons.
