Does anyone have any views on this school? Went to the open evening last night and it was tired and shabby but my DC and I were very impressed with the interested they took in him rather than just showing us the flashy bits.

Hi, My daughter went to Woodrush in sept 2006.
It was not my first choice of school, partly because you say it looked tired and shabby.
I am so glad my daughter went to woodrush she has enjoyed every minute of it,made some new friends for life, and is now considering it for 6th form.
She has excelled in some areas, taken GCSE's early, and is on the Gifted and Talented program. I have just completed an application on line for my younger daughter to start at Woodrush in Sept2011. Hope this helps you.

Thanks Mother57 that is great to know. The teachers seemed very interested in the children to me. He loved the music room and the whole atmosphere seemed small and friendly. I do not know anyone who went there recently because we have just moved in to the area.
