Evening in Aberdeen?

I’ll have a Thursday evening in Aberdeen free soon. On my own, and I’ve never been before.

Any ideas on what to do? I’m up for something interesting rather than just reading my book in a restaurant (although I suspect I’d be happy doing that too).

If you like fish I can recommend the Silver Darling restaurant in Fittie (or Footdee). You would probably need a short taxi trip. Enjoy!

Good lord, anything apart from Brew Dog, I know it’s been taken over but still…

If you like a beer, I would recommend Fierce Beer, just round the corner from Brew Dog. The Tilted Wig has a quiz on a Thursday but that may not be ideal on your own. For food my recommendation would be Rustico.
