Sunday too cracking line up, wish it was the Saturday so I didn’t have work the next day. My family have warned me they’re hitting the bar during James Blunt but I don’t care, I’ll belting my faves out tunelessly on my Todd. Hope the weather is kind .

Yes really looking forward to it . I think there may be some tickets available but not sure if for all nights .
I will listen into the DJ set on the Friday - but wasn’t that bothered going to that. Just checked and the capacity is for 30,000 people all nights . Don’t think I have been to such a big event before . Not looking forward to the portaloos !

it was a brilliant event! Very well organised and the weather was fantastic.
Even the loos were fine and queues not too bad.
The only disappointment was Chaka Khan's slot which meant Saturday evening fizzled out rather than end on a high. I'd say that was a scheduling error.

It was a bit tough on my old knees and ankles! Suffering a bit today 😣

We went yesterday and had great fun! James Blunt and Simple Minds were both amazing and I loved the 'Sounds of the 80s' set with Gary Davies in the DJ tent. We got so lucky with the weather, and the scenery looked stunning!
And I totally agree, chaka khan was all wrong from what I could see on the TV on sat night. No engagement with the audience at all.

Oh god I’m SOOOO tired and I don’t think my knees will forgive me 🤣
What a great weekend and how lucky did we get with the weather yesterday!
Brilliant line up both days but yesterday was the best for me-the day was bookended by 2 of my favourite bands.
Simple Minds was AMAZING-what a high to end the event on!
(the less said about Chaka Khan the better!)

Exhausted too today . Went both days too . I must have been using the worst loos as they weren’t great yesterday , better on Sat .
Chaka Khan was really disappointing. She didn’t play many of her big hits , didn’t really engage and obviously forget the name of Alexandra Burke - so didn’t introduce her by name .
Loved Simple Minds , ABC , Cast and Deacon Blue .
Jack Savroretti was really good too and so lovely and attractive . I have even googled and sadly he is married to a beautiful wife with 3 kids ….I was very near the front of the stage too ( not intentionally as didn’t really know of him before ) .

Is James Blunt still alive ??? Not my favourite singer but he really tried his best and was very brave to do his usual stunt of surfing with a dingy when he wasn’t really loved by the crowd .

Blue , again not my favourite music did put on a very strong performance .
I also went to the DJ tents on the Saturday , caught some of Jo Whiley , fantastic atmosphere and a great choice of music .

Watched all of Rylan’s set , also not a big fan of his music choices but think he is a great presenter . Fantastic - he really seemed to love it and was very touching when he thanked all the listeners / the show for helping to get him through covid .Was a great weekend .
