There's a thread here about the Scottish Government planning to introduce a Human Rights Bill. It appears to be designed to allow transwomen (men who say they're women) into women's single sex spaces - so trying to find a way round the decision by the Supreme Court that single sex spaces are for people of one sex only and that sex means biological sex.

Why are the government so he’ll bend in shoehorning blokes into women’s single sex spaces? Why? Just why? I’d love to know. It loses them so many votes. Even the democrats are realising this in the US.

As the "transwomen before everything" policy has been carried on by several First Ministers now, I suspect that money is at the bottom of it - some kind of grift going on. Of course, that's only a suspicion. Or I suppose it could all be tied up with the relationship with the Scottish Greens, and their political support for the SNP. The Greens have been infiltrated by transactivists.
