What's with all the lottery type draws in TV where everyone has a Fife accent?

I cant remember the exact names but they are advertised a lot on TV. Its always 20 somethings with an east coast accent.
Im surprised more posters aren't commenting.

Fife is actually the epicentre of the Scottish lotto industry. They do apprenticeships in the high schools these days. Special lessons for drawing numbers, taking part in adverts, being excitable about low to medium value prizes, that sort of thing. There's quite the rivalry between the towns too, Glenrothes and Burntisland rivalry is notoriously spiteful.

The bloody Fifers stole the most favoured Scottish accent crown from the Weegies. Previously the Glaswegians got all the speaking slots on low value adverts until the Lottery University opened up in Auchtertool.

Anything high brow is of course a Morningside speaker.

Is that the Scotto thing??
