Teen has a school trip to from Glasgow Edinburgh today, heavy rain, snow and gusty winds up to 46 expected. I do suffer from anxiety so struggle to be objective about these things.

Yes I would. I'm in Edin, looks normal for January out the windie. Not a day for climbing Arthur's Seat but never is in Jan.

Check the forecast…40 mile an hour winds and heavy rain most of the day. It’s blowing a hoolie, as they say.

St James quarter shopping mall and the art galleries will be best places to shelter.

Of course i would.

Thank you, it’s to the parliament so they’ll be indoors all day, it’s just the travel I’m worried about. Appreciate the replies.

It will be an hourish on the bus won't it ? I am sure it will be fine, if not the coach company will cancel, it is windy out but not too bad.
