Anyone renewed an ADP claim recently?

My DH is in receipt of ADP. It was awarded for 2 years which is now just about up. What happens now. Does he need to claim again or do they contact him. His condition has not improved. Thanks

They will send you a form a while before the award ends, there is a box to say Changes or No Changes.

If there’s no change in your DH’s health then just tick the No Changes box, and it should just automatically renew. That’s what happened with mine and I was awarded ADP for a further 5 years.

They’ll send you a letter to confirm and tell you the rates that he’s been awarded. I was given the higher rates for both daily living and mobility.

Try not to worry, everything should be fine.

They should send a form out to you. Then your fill in and return. He will continue to be paid until they make a decision.
