Best value spa day - Central Belt

I am looking for best value spa day somewhere Central Belt (ish - we are just North West of Edinburgh) It's for DDs 18th birthday. I have been to Sheraton and Stobo and am looking for use of the facilities and one or two treatments. Can do mid week. Any recommendations?

I see you mention the Sheraton so hope someone comes up with an alternative to where you've already tried.

The Sheraton OneSpa is really run down, missing tiles, peeling paint, dirty, various facilities out of action regularly, temperature of the saunas and outdoor jacuzzi are really low now. Also needed to ask for a robe since the summer. They changed the membership and lost a lot of people as they pretty much doubled some of the rates - think it's about £260/month just to be able to swim whenever you wanted (includes gym) but I left after receiving the price increase letter on Christmas Eve!

We're really lacking somewhere clean, nice and of good value. Hope you find somewhere good.

Probably the Blytheswood as it is all recently refurbed and quite plush and well done.

If you wanted to make a day of it/overnight then Portavadie in Argyll’s spa is lovely.

Blythswood is great and if you get the 2 course meal with the spa day, the food in the bar upstairs is really delicious. I find once you've been to stobo and blythswood, everything else central is a bit meh!

Been a while since I was there but the Carrick Spa that belongs to Cameron House was lovely when I went.
Blythswood is lovely too.

My favourites are Lochside @ New Cummnock, Cameron Hoise, and Marine Hotel @ Troon. Don't know if those are too far for you tho 🤔

was at the Sheraton last month and it was really quite unpleasant (previously a big fan). Has gone downhill dramatically.
marine North Berwick is worth a look. Small but decent value and the restaurant afternoon tea was lovely.

Thanks all - I will check out Blythswood. That’s really sad about One Spa at the Sheraton - I used to be a member at the gym there but stopped after Covid when I didn’t need to be in the office.

Marine NB is in need of a refurb. Hotel was done a couple of years ago but they didn’t do the spa. Missing tiles in the steam rooms and outdoor pool area. Feels quite dirty

You can get good itison deals for the Blythswood sometimes.

I know a couple of people who went to the Carrick spa and really enjoyed it.

Whitekirk Hill is lovely, between Dunbar and North Berwick.
