My DS is set to go to St Cuthbert primary next year, and while we've had very good opinions on this school from parents and teachers, we really don't know much about the catchment secondary he would have to go to as a result (st Augustine's). I know their ranking regarding the exam results is not the best, but as a former teacher myself I'm on the belief that if a child is academic and is supported at home and by caring teachers, the results will come regardless... So I'm more interested in the school ethos, wether teachers are invested, the values of the community, the environment in general, what sort of friends he might have... Things like that.
Does anyone know the school and could give me any insight?
Thank you very much in advance
