Experience with Edinburgh dental institute

Hi. My DS needs to do a root canal on his front tooth after he was referred to Edinburgh dental institute. Does anyone has any experience with them? I'm worried he may get operated on by a student rather than an expert. Also not sure how advanced their technology is TBH.

Dd (now 20) was a patient there from when she was 9 to when she went to uni at 18.

Technology is pretty up to date as far as I can tell, and she always saw the consultant whenever she went. The students who were there were always post grads, not undergrads so we were always happy with her treatment.

Is that the same as the dental hospital in Lauriston? I had excellent (adult) care there. Also had treatment by a dental student elsewhere and they were very heavily supervised & no issues.
