Hello

Can anyone recommend some restaurants in the west end for a couple of family celebrations? One will be dinner and one brunch. We like all sorts of food and are looking for something with a good atmosphere. As it’s for a special occasion we can push the boat out a bit.

thank you!

Cafe Andalusia- there's 2, one in the city centre and one just off Byers Road
Great atmosphere, interesting food.

Sorry - Cafe Andaluz. Not Andalusia!

Cafe Andaluz in the west end was a disappointment. We've eaten in loads and always loved them but our table was booked for 7, we were told that we had it until 8.45 but at 8 it was obvious they wanted rid of us. Hopefully it was a one off.

I eat in Cafe Andaluz in the West end a lot
It's not fancy or anything ,and I normally go for a girls lunch rather than for an ocassion , but have never had a bad meal
Am sorry you did

We recently had a very special meal at The Buttery, a little further away but I would highly recommend
