Wet weather school jackets for 16 year old boy

How on earth can I persuade a reluctant 16 year old to use something on a wet day. He is just wearing a wool blazer and has a 10 minute walk from the train. Brolly briefly considered this morning., then rejected. Any ideas?

Mine has just given in and is wearing a berghaus rain jacket I found on Vinted over his blazer

It probably needs to be something other teens are wearing. If he picks it, he's more likely to wear it. His blazer will start to smell soon!

What about one of those sondico jackets that they wear for football... only thing my ds would consider acceptable!

Get him something cool enough and he’ll wear it all the time

I see a resurgence in Liam Gallagher style coats very soon.

Mine doesn't even wear a blazer, just a sweatshirt. I bought him an expensive lyle and Scott jacket he asked for but he still doesn't wear it.

Mine will wear his plain black berghaus jacket on days like today but not if it's lighter showers, then he'd rather get wet
