Parking near Murrayfield - Taylor Swift concert

Hi, looking for some advice. Travelling through on the 7th for Taylor Swift, from the West. My default for going to murrayfield would always be Hermiston or Ingliston park and ride, but worried these will be full, as I can't leave Glasgow until after 3.

Would be really grateful for any advice from locals or those who are more organised than me and have already planned. Thanks!

There are websites that people advertise their driveways on for day or 24hour hires that could be worth investigating and booking just now before they realise and jack the prices up?!

I thought about it myself but ended up with the train instead when I was going to the Murrayfield area.

If Ingliston park and ride is full you could keep driving in and park in one of the side streets near the zoo and jump on a bus from there.
Or park near the holiday Inn on queensferry Road and walk from there (about 15 mins). Advantage of parking near holiday inn is you can go in and out the Queensferry Road which will be less busy than the Glasgow Road.

It's likely they'll just cancel and re-sell 😭

Thanks all. I did have it in my head that if the park and rides are full I could just find a street and park, and get tram or bus. Not hugely familiar with Edinburgh, but could work it out.

I saw a website that rents out parking spaces but they were all booked, including a local sainsburys that seems to have booked out its car park!

If Ingilston is full go to the Gyle. You'll pay but it's on the tram line, easy to get in & out of, loads of spaces. Was my backup when we went to harry styles at Murray field

The tram stops at Bankhead normally has a lot of parking on the street. I'd be wary of parking at the Gyle Shopping Centre as you only get 4 hours and they may going round stickering cars like they have in the past.

I’d park at Livingston or Bathgate and get the train in. Get off at Haymarket and walk back to the stadium. After the concert, I’d walk all the way to Waverley and get a train back out rather than wait at Haymarket.
