Think summer is going to a wash out?

I am losing all hope of having a nice summer.

It's been a dry day today and I spent the morning power washing the patio planning to cut the grass tomorrow but I have no hope we are in for a decent summer with plenty of bbqs and garden days.

Anyone else feel the same?

Well Easter certainly wasn’t encouraging. We weren’t planning to go away this summer so hoping I’m wrong!

I am still hopeful, especially after last summer which was bloody awful for the east side of the country. It’s only April. It’s never good in April. Fingers crossed over the coming weeks.

Too early to give up hope - at least the weather has been the best it’s been in 2024 this week - not endless rain?

Please no - we had a shite summer last year with 2 nice weeks in June and rain all July/August.

I don't want a heatwave all summer. I just want it to STOP RAINING.

Yesterday gave me hope. It was such a lovely day.

My birthday is next week and for at least the last 7 or 8 years it's been a beautiful day. This year looks so disappointing in comparison. It's so cold!!

Hopefully we'll get some decent weather. It's nice and dry and bright here (NE coast) and actually quite warm but the bloody wind all the time.

I keep thinking I'll get some washing out but goodness knows where it would end up.
