Currently trawling through booking.com and hotel websites.
Does anyone have a recommendation of a hotel fairly near city centre of Edinburgh and with parking?
It’s just for one night.
Thank you!

You can select car parking as a filter on Booking.com when you're searching so only hotels with parking show in the results and you can also select the distance from the city centre/a landmark. HTH

There are all on good bus routes and a couple of miles into the city centre:
Holiday Inn by the zoo
Holiday Inn Express City West
The Village Hotel
Travelodge Cameron Toll
A bit further out but still good buses / tram:
Holiday Inn Express Leith
Delta by Marriott
Novotel Edinburgh Park
Premier Inn Edinburgh Park
Premier Inn Leith Waterfront (it's actually at Newhaven!)
Premier Inn Edinburgh East

Look at the Omni centre parking on Leith Street then hotels nearby such as at the St James Quarter, York Place or Waterloo Place including Premier Inn, Travelodge and Holiday Inn. Otherwise the Holyrood and Courtyard by Marriott both have adjacent parking if a little less central.

Your other option would be to ditch the car on a park & ride car park overnight (you can park at any apart from the Ingliston one by the airport), £2 on the bus into the city centre and have a free pick of central hotels. It's not just the expense of parking if you stay somewhere more central, driving in the city centre is awful if you don't know the roads (it's bad when you do!). Also, depending on when you're visiting there's a local emissions zone being enforced on 1st June.

The Sheraton does but you pay for the parking ontop. It's not a cheap hotel though it is lovely!

Apex Grassmarket has onsite parking.

Two fairly opposite ends of the spectrum... The Edinburgh Central Travelodge is just off the Royal Mile and has (limited) parking, as does the Waldorf at the West End, but I think both are at an extra cost. Obviously the Waldorf is a bit nicer...

As PP said, beware the LEZ if it's after May.

The Voco at Haymarket gives you parking in a multi-storey just across the road.
