"The sight of a sea of men’s hands voting against the motion from women’s conference was chilling. Scottish Labour & the trade unions involved need to take a long hard look at themselves"

I want both the Tories and the SNP out, but how can I vote Labour when they vote against rights that matter to me. 😡

Sadly, it's what I expected. Over 50% of the population sold down the river, again! The Scottish political scene is anti-women.

This why I feel politically homeless

Il be voting the tories.

The stance from labour and the vast majority of snp on these issues have been sickening.

I would have voted labour but unless they come out loud and proud with a complete u turn, il never vote for them again in my life. Its one this to accept this for myself but for the sake of my daughter il vote for the only major party who oppose this utter b**cks.

It’s really upsetting. There’s no party I can vote for currently. Have emailed Anas S and not received a reply :(

The fact that men were able to vote on this at all is disgusting. I was going to say that the attitudes of Labour men are stuck in the 1950s, but actually it's not even that good, is it? More like 1850s - where women are prevented by men from having any agency over themselves, their bodies and their lives. Where important decisions are taken by men on behalf of women (and those decisions made in the interests of the men, rather than the women they purport to be deciding for).

That they are happy with the optics of this tells its own tale.
